Psalms 54 — To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Does not David hide himself with us?

¹Save me, O Elohim (God), by your name, and judge me by your strength.

²Hear my prayer, O Elohim (God); give ear to the words of my mouth.

³For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set Elohim (God) before them. Selah.

⁴Behold, Elohim (God) is my helper: Adonai (Lord) is with them that uphold my soul.

⁵He shall reward evil unto my enemies: cut them off in your truth.

⁶I will freely sacrifice unto you: I will praise your name, O Yahuah (LORD); for it is good.

⁷For he has delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye has seen his desire upon my enemies.
